Annual Conference
Theological Educator’s Conference 2022: Learning for the Whole of Life
4th – 6th July 2022
College Court, the University of Leicester
This will include the AGM of TEN.
Booking for the 2022 Annual Conference for Theological Educators is now open until 11th June 2022. The conference is joint meeting of the Common Awards Staff Conference , the Theological Educators' Network and the Church of England National Ministry Development network. All bookings are handled by Durham University.
Conference theme
The theme of the conference is ‘Learning for the Whole of Life.’ This covers three main ideas:
-
Lifelong learning (i.e., learning for the whole duration of one’s life)
-
Holistic learning (i.e., learning that includes every dimension of one’s life)
-
Community-wide learning (i.e., learning that includes all the members of the church)
There was a preparatory symposium on this theme back in May 2021, and brief videos from that event are available here.

This year’s conference is a hybrid conference. This conference is available:

-
other options available include a ‘day package’ for those who are local and may wish to attend during the days only, and a ‘3-night package’ for those who may need an extra night’s accommodation on Sunday due to transport issues. If you can only attend part of the conference you may wish to select the ‘1-night package’;
-
all of the rooms are single occupancy. If you require a double occupancy room for yourself and another conference guest, please contact us. Adapted rooms for those with access requirements are available (you can specify your requirements on the booking form).
-
If you are attending online then the booking is flexible; you are welcome to attend whichever parts of the programme are possible for you.
